Method meth of class cl was invoked incorrectly.

error indicates the exact nature of the error; for some methods if the error is specific to one of its arguments, or to the object method, it may begin with a string of one of the following two forms:

  • (argument n)

This indicates that the error is due to the nth argument.

  • (method object)

This indicates that the error is due to the object to which the method is applied.

The request is cancelled. Correct the method invocation.

To get more debugging info such as the procedure and line number in which the error occurred, rerun the request with the 1 bit set in the SIRFACT system parameter or with any non-zero setting of the DEBUGUL user parameter. The former can only be done if SirFact is installed; the latter results in additional QTBL space for compiled procedures.
