The bits have the following meanings:</p>

<tr><th align="right"><var>X'01'</var></th>
<td>Push updates to the broker at the end of any <var>For</var> loop where there are pending updates. Normally, updates are deferred until there is a normal interaction with the broker such as for an <var>Find</var> or <var>Commit</var>. While this is very efficient in that it reduces the number of interactions with the broker, it can make it difficult to diagnose problems applying <var>Transparency</var> updates since any errors will occur well after the update, making it difficult to determine where a problematic update came from. By setting <code>IMGOPT X'01'</code>, broker errors will be reflected to <var>Model 204</var> very close to the location of the update.

<td>Produce a stack trace for any messages resulting from [[IMGTRACE parameter|IMGTRACE]] settings. While <var>IMGTRACE</var> can be useful in debugging problems when using <var>Transparency</var>, one might get trace data but find it difficult to associate it with the source code that produced that data. Setting <code>IMGOPT X'02'</code> makes it easy to identify the source of any <var>IMGTRACE</var> data.
