identify an access control list. <var class="term">Access_control_list_identifiers</var> begin with an alphabetic character that is optionally followed by one or more alphabetic, numeric, or underscore characters. The maximum allowed length is twenty characters.

A <var class="term">label_identifier</var> identifies a line within a macro. <var class="term">Label_identifiers</var> begin with an alphabetic character that is optionally followed by one or more alphabetic, numeric, or underscore characters. The maximum allowed length is twenty characters.

Labels in macros consist of a <var class="term">label_identifier</var> followed by a colon. A label can be
on a line by itself or can be followed by a command.

A <var class="term">macro_identifier</var> is used to identify a macro.
<var class="term">Macro_identifiers</var> begin with an alphabetic
character that is optionally followed by one or more alphabetic, numeric, or
underscore characters. The maximum allowed length is twenty characters.

If a <var class="term">macro_identifier</var> begins with your userid followed by an underscore then it identifies a user macro. Otherwise the <var class="term">macro_identifier</var> identifies a system macro.
