Connect is standards-based, multi-threaded middleware that connects client applications to a Model 204 DBMS. Connect includes JDBC, ODBC, and .NET Framework connectivity drivers for client applications running on a variety of platforms.

The pages in this category describe:

  • pre-installation information for Connect, including installation requirements
  • how to confirm your workstation-to-mainframe connection and install the Connect Visual Interface (CVI)
  • how to install and configure the Connect for JDBC, Connect for ODBC, and Connect for .NET Framework drivers
