The DEFINE PROCESSGROUP command defines intersystem network processes. Processgroup definitions are required for the Model 204 intersystem processing facilities. These facilities include:

  • Horizon for TCP/IP

  • Horizon for VTAM

    • Horizon CNOS

  • For SQL processing:

    • CRAM SQL

    • IUCV SQL

  • TPROCESS

  • Transfer Control

  • UL/DB2

The following pages contain descriptions and examples of DEFINE PROCESSGROUP requirements for each of the above facilities.

  • For more information about Horizon network and entities, see the Model 204 Horizon: Intersystem Processing Guide.

  • For more information about Model 204 PQO entities, see the Parallel Query Option/204 User's Guide.
