M204.1691 Unmatched parenthesis in pattern token
During compilation of a SOUL request or Host Language Interface function, the pattern token0 is found to have an open parenthesis that is never closed or a close parenthesis for which there is no corresponding open. SOUL requests are terminated after compilation. Host Language Interface functions receive a return code of 4.
Response: Correct the pattern, and retry the SOUL request or Host Language application.
