MSIR.0145 Insufficient storage to add remote server (servername) TO PORT (portname)

From m204wiki
Jump to navigation Jump to search

This message indicates that a JANUS DEFINEREMOTE command failed because there was insufficient virtual storage to add the control blocks associated with the remote server. To correct this problem more free virtual storage must be made available to Model 204. This could be done by bringing Model 204 up in a larger region or virtual machine, reducing the buffer pool size or reducing other users of virtual storage. Note that all virtual storage used for the JANUS DEFINEREMOTE command is "above-the-line" so "below-the-line" storage constraints are not an issue.
