This message indicates that the subnet specified in a JANUS DEFINEIPGROUP command or a JANUS ALLOW or DISALLOW rule (JANUS WEB, CLSOCK, or SRVSOCK command) had bits on in the subnet that were not on in the subnet mask. Any bit that is not on in the subnet mask must be off in the subnet. For example, "198.242.244.133/255.255.255.0" is an invalid subnet because the last byte in the subnet (133) contains several bits that are on but are not on in the subnet mask (since the last byte is 0 in the sbnet mask. In this example the correct specification of the subnet would be "198.242.244.0/255.255.255.0".
