Create a new LDAP object (LDAP class)

Syntax

%ldap = [%(LDAP):]New

Syntax terms

%LDAPA declared LDAP object to contain the new LDAP object instance.
%(LDAP) The optional class name in parentheses denotes a Constructor. See "Usage notes", below, for more information about invoking an LDAP Constructor.

Usage notes

  • As described in "Using New or other Constructors", New can be called with no object, with an explicit class name, or with an object variable, even if that object is Null:

    %ldap = new %ldap = %(LDAP):new %ldap = %ldap:new
