<p class="warn"><b>Note: </b>Most Sirius $functions have been deprecated in favor of Object Oriented
methods. There is currently no direct OO equivalent for the $Cos function.</p>

The <var>$Cos</var> function returns
the cosine of an argument that is given in radians.
If the
magnitude of the argument exceeds 10<sup>15</sup> radians, an error message is
printed and a 0 is returned.
