View source for $UpdLoc

<p>The $UPDLOC function is used with Parallel Query Option/204 to determine the location name of the current update unit.</p>
<p>$UPDLOC takes no arguments, and returns a string indicating the location of the update unit as follows:</p>
<ul>
<li>If there is no update unit currently in effect, the string is null.</li>
</li>
<li>For a local update, the return string is 'LOCAL'.</li>
</li>
<li>For a remote update, the return string is the location name of the node where the update is occurring.</li>
</li>
