View source for MSIR.0833 Can't set Model 6 -- (reason)

A <var>RESET MODEL 6</var> command could not be executed for the indicated reason. The most likely reason for this error is an insufficiently large <var>[[LOUTPB parameter|LOUTPB]]</var>, which can be corrected by increasing <var>LOUTPB</var> or setting a smaller screen size on the 3270 emulator that received this error. 

Another likely cause of this error is use of an "old" 3270 emulator that does not support the Write Structured Field Query operation required to support the MODEL 6 capability. For such emulators, the correct model must be set "manually".
