<var>TIMEZONE</var> is a parameter on <var>[[JANUS DEFINE]]</var>, which defines and sets characteristics of a Janus port. 

This parameter specifies the [https://www.iana.org/time-zones IANA time zone] under which the Online is running.

In the following example, the timezone is set to that of Sydney, Australia:

</p>

<var>TIMEZONE</var> is only valid for <var>IMAGINET</var> ports.
