M204.2291  MVS IUCV emulation failure

During OPEN LINK processing of a TCP/IP link, Model 204 attempted to obtain the Program Call numbers for the IUCV emulation subsystem in MVS that allows Model 204 to communicate with the IBM TCP/IP service address space. This attempt failed.

System manager response: This probably means that IBM TCP/IP has not been installed correctly on the MVS system. Verify the TCP/IP installation with system programmers, especially as regards IUCV emulation.
