Current time as YYDDDHHMISSXX

Note: Many $functions have been deprecated in favor of Object Oriented methods. There is no OO equivalent for the $SirTime function.

The $SirTime function accepts no arguments and returns the current time in YYDDDHHMISSXX format. This function is especially useful in conjunction with $SirJGet.

Syntax

%time = $SirTime

Where %time is a string that is set to the current time in YYDDDHHMISSXX format.

Usage notes

  • See the documentation of $Sir_Date for obtaining the current time in any format.
