Description
This parameter specifies the name of the Model 204 Online run, for use by SNA Communications Server 3270 support (IODEV=7).
VTAMNAME is a character string parameter. Its value must be eight characters or fewer.
The VTAMNAME value should be the same as the minor node name (the SNA Communications Server APPL statement label). However, if the SNA Communications Server APPL statement includes an ACBNAME
setting, and the ACBNAME
value is not the same as the SNA Communications Server APPL statement label, the VTAMNAME value must be the same as the ACBNAME
value.
Note: Rocket Software recommends that you omit the ACBNAME
parameter setting from the SNA Communications Server APPL definition.
