Description
This parameter specifies the number of the Model 204 Timer SVC.
TIMESVC is used only under z/OS. A value of zero suppresses the use of the Timer SVC.
Note: This parameter has no effect (is ignored) on systems that support the ECTG (Extract CPU Time Grande) instruction, which is more efficient for timing CPU consumption than the Timer SVC or the Timer PC alternative.
