This message indicates that 'option', either SPANSIZE or EXCEPTIONS, is specified on a SIRFIELD 'field' FORMAT command, but that a datetime format has not been specified for 'field'. You must either insert DATE 'format' in the SIRFIELD command, or precede this command with a SIRFIELD 'field' FORMAT command with DATE 'format'.
The command is rejected.
