M204.1690 Unmatched parenthesis in pattern token
In the execution of a SOUL request or Host Language Interface function, an open parenthesis was never closed, or a close parenthesis had no corresponding open in the pattern token. In SOUL, the request is canceled. Host Language Interface functions receive a return code of 4.
