New (XmlDoc constructor)

Create a new XmlDoc object (XmlDoc class)

Syntax

%doc = [%(XmlDoc):]New

Syntax terms

%doc	A declared XmlDoc object variable to contain the new XmlDoc object instance.
%(XmlDoc)	The class name in parentheses denotes a shared method.

Usage notes

• You can invoke New with an explicit class name (as in the syntax box above), or you can alternatively invoke it with no object (as shown below) or with an object variable (even if that object is null):

  %xmldoc = new %xmldoc = %doc:new

• An XmlDoc can only be instantiated by the New method or by making a copy of an existing XmlDoc via the Copy or DeepCopy method.
