Most Sirius $functions have been deprecated in favor of Object Oriented methods. There is no OO equivalent for the $BgQuery function as the OO APIs emphasize the use of the Daemon methods.
This function is obsolete and has done nothing but return a value of 0 if a valid $list identifier is specified as a parameter and 6 otherwise.
