TSO userid user's thread

Most Sirius $functions have been deprecated in favor of Object Oriented methods. There is no OO equivalent for the $TSOId function.

This function returns the TSO userid of the current user thread.

Note: This function requires the special version of the TSO full screen interface to Model 204 that is distributed by Sirius Software.

The $TSOId function accepts no arguments and returns either an 8 byte string containing the TSO userid of the Model 204 user or a null string indicating that the user is not a TSO user or that the Sirius Software TSO Interface has not been installed.

Syntax

<section begin="syntax" />%term = $TSOId <section end="syntax" />

Example

The following program displays the user's TSO userid.
