Description
At z/OS installations using the MP feature, the number of offload subtasks ATTACHed during online initialization
The optimum value of NMPSUBS is normally one less than the number of processors in the CPU. The maximum value is 32.
The NMPSUBS parameter cannot be reset, but the AMPSUBS parameter (which determines the number of active subtasks) can be reset at any time by the system manager.
