Usage notes
This variation of the MONITOR command provides usage statistics for the SNA Communications Server full screen interface. These statistics can be used to tune the Model 204 parameters associated with the interfaces and also to tune the use of the access methods' I/O buffers.
The MONITOR SNA Communications Server command produces the following information:

Number of input buffer waits

Number of write waits

Active input buffers

Active output buffers
-
Number of terminals in output buffer wait queue
For the SNA Communications Server Interface, the input buffer activity is controlled by the actual number of input buffers established by the TERMBUF parameter. Write waits and queue congestions might indicate that you need to increase the number of SNA Communications Server I/O buffers.
