M204.2473  File fileName was last updated in the future and has failed the future date check; current date: token - date of file: token2

The file fails to open.

During OPEN processing, the date the file was last opened for update is checked against the current date. If that date is in the future (because the system was IPLed with that date, the SYSDATE parameter is used, or the system clock was reset), the OPEN is refused with this message, which gives both the current time and the time the file was last opened for update.

The file cannot be opened until the current time exceeds the time the file was last opened for update. This is to enforce an ascending timeline on all updates done to Model 204 files, and it is required by Model 204 file routines.

Model 204 has approximately 10 seconds leeway when handling possible future FPL date errors. If the file was changed more than this period of time into the future, you get error message M204.2743. Less than that time period, you get the previous information message, M204.2472.

Response: Wait until time has elapsed.
