M204.1012 Writing a reader
Model 204 has attempted to write output to an input device.
System manager response: Check the value of the IODEV parameter on the thread receiving the message. If the value of the IODEV parameter is correct, contact Technical Support and have the following information available:
- Snap
- Audit trail
Operator response: Notify the system manager.
Message attributes:

| CLASS=E | Error class; the message can be suppressed with the X'04' bit setting of the MSGCTL parameter |
| AUDITAD | Writes the message with line type AD to the audit trail |
| NOCOUNT | Does not increment the error count (ERCNT) parameter |
| SAVE | Saves the message in the VIEW ERRORS table |
| SNAP | Generates a CCASNAP for the run |
