DeepCopy (RandomNumberGenerator function)

"Deep copy" specified RandomNumberGenerator object

DeepCopy is a member of the RandomNumberGenerator class.

This method returns a RandomNumberGenerator object that is a deep copy of the method object.

Syntax

  %newrand = %rand:DeepCopy

Syntax terms

A RandomNumberGenerator object variable to contain the deep copied object.

%rand

A RandomNumberGenerator object variable.

Usage Notes

• The method object (%rand) may be null. The output of a copy of a null object is a null object.
