This message indicates that a JANUS command was issued and a required 'entity' is missing. The 'subcommand' shown in the message identifies the type of JANUS command issued; the documentation for this subcommand should indicate the requirements for the identified 'entity'. 

For example, this message can occur in the following situations:
  • A JANUS DEFINEIPGROUP or DEFINEUSGROUP command was issued without any of the members of the group. Re-issue the command with the name of the group and the members of the group.
  • A JANUS TRACE command was issued without the new trace value. Re-issue the command with the new trace value.
