Description

The number of records physically deleted from the file (entry order, unordered, and hash key files), or the number of records deleted from master areas (sorted files)

The value of MSTRDEL does not include records logically deleted by the User Language DELETE RECORDS IN statement or by the Host Language Interface IFDSET call.
