M204.1262 No new preallocated fields allowed
This message is probably caused by an attempt to define a preallocated field after records already exist in a file. This is not possible since the record structure would change.
Response: If you cannot work with a new non-preallocated field, see your file manager.
File manager response: Reorganize the file with the required preallocated field.
