Cancel "long" sdaemon request initiated with $CommBg
Most Sirius $functions have been deprecated in favor of Object Oriented methods. There is no OO equivalent for the $BgPurge function as the OO APIs emphasize the use of the Daemon methods.
This function is obsolete and does nothing but return a value of 6.
