M204.0235  Group support not linked in

The two possible reasons for this message are:

  • A request attempts to access a group of files, but the Model 204 module that handles permanent, temporary, and ad hoc group processing is not present in the load module. The compilation continues but the request is not executed.
  • A create command was issued to create a permanent or temporary group and the Model 204 load module used does not contain the module that handles processing of groups. The CREATE command is rejected.

Response: Contact the system manager.

System manager response: Make sure that the user is executing a Model 204 load module with GRUP linked in. If the Model 204 module does not have GRUP included, consult Model 204 installation documentation, and rebuild the module.
