M204.1142  Aliases ignored on previous request redefinition

Aliases should not be specified when the PROCEDURE command is used to redefine a previous request.

Response: To make a previous request permanent, use the EDIT command to store the request in a named procedure. Then you may assign aliases to it with the ASSIGN command.

Message attributes:

RETCODEO=0Sets online return code
RETCODEB=4Sets batch (single user) return code
CLASS=EError class; the message can be suppressed with the X'04' bit setting of the MSGCTL parameter
AUDITMSWrites the message with line type MS to the audit trail
NOCOUNTDoes not increment the error count (ERCNT) parameter
