M204.1407  token discontinuity occurred at token2 for file fileName

During a media recovery (REGENERATE) job for the specified file, a discontinuity of the type noted was encountered in CCAGEN. The date and time of the event which logged the discontinuity are noted in this message. A discontinuity is an event that overrides all other file update events and cannot be rolled across.

Discontinuities are caused by CREATE FILE, CREATEG, INITIALIZE, file updated by a second job, RESET FISTAT, RESTORE, RESTOREG, RESET FRCVOPT, REGENERATE, ROLLBACK processing, ROLL FORWARD processing, and system initialization.

This message indicates that the noted discontinuity occurred after the time of the backup being used as the starting point for media recovery, and before any specified stopping point. The file will be deactivated for the rest of media recovery. Model 204 will issue the "Stopped processing file" error message M204.1436 and will attempt to process any other files in the media recovery run.

File manager response: You can partially recover the file in question by specifying a stopping point prior to the discontinuity. Change your REGENERATE command input and rerun media recovery for that particular file.

Refer to System and media recovery and Media recovery for more information on discontinuities and media recovery.
