M204.2928  Maximum socket used on TCP/IP link token was token2

This informational message shows the highest socket number used on this Horizon TCP/IP link. token is the link name, for example LINK1, and token2 is the maximum socket number used on that link at the time it was closed.

On TCPSE protocols, this information is useful for tuning the CONNECTIONS parameter on DEFINE LINK. If the maximum socket number is close to the value of CONNECTIONS, you might want to increase CONNECTIONS.

On other protocols (such as TCPVSE, used on z/VSE), high socket numbers can be used even if there are few simultaneous connections (sessions) in use at any time.
