Description

You can increase Table B for a file dynamically up to MAXINCBP percent of BSIZE, without taking the file out of service.

MAXINCBP requires the use of the DYNAMIC option on the INCREASE command.

MAXINCBP lets you work around a segment limit on the boost an INCREASE TABLEB command can actually provide. See Managing file and table sizes for an explanation of how to use MAXINCBP.
