Shows current use of a Model 204 intersystem network entity

Syntax

MONITOR {LINK | PROCESS | PROCESSGROUP | REMOTE | SESSIONGROUP} entityname [[EVERY] n]

Where:

entityname is the name specified on the DEFINE command for the entity
n is the number of seconds Model 204 waits after completing a display before beginning the next display.
REMOTE and SESSIONGROUP are entities required only for Horizon for VTAM connections that use the SNA CNOS protocol.

Usage notes

This variation of the MONITOR command displays system information on the current use of a Model 204 intersystem network entity: a link, processgroup, process, remote, or sessiongroup. Networks containing these entities are defined in all the Model 204 intersystem processing facilities. These facilities include:

  • Horizon for TCP/IP

  • Horizon for VTAM

  • For SQL processing:

    • CRAM SQL

    • IUCV SQL

  • TPROCESS

  • Transfer Control

  • UL/DB2
