Description

Maximum number of subtasks to use for WebSphere MQ connections. The value can vary from 0 up to a maximum of 32767. If the value set in CCAIN is less than the value of MQINTASK, then the MQMXTASK value is reset to the value of MQINTASK.

As of M204 7.8, this maximum value may now be reset dynamically by a system manager. If the value is raised, new tasks will be added as needed up to the value specified. If the value is lowered, idle subtasks will be detached before they are activated until the new maximum is established.

For more information, see MQ/204 architecture and environment and MQ/204 queue management.
