This message indicates that when a client connected to a [http://m204wiki.rocketsoftware.com/images/1/17/JosrvrNew.pdf Janus Open Server], [http://m204wiki.rocketsoftware.com/images/e/e4/JsdsrNew.pdf Janus Specialty Data Store], or [[Janus Sockets]] port, Janus was unable to open the file (or group) specified in the OPEN parameter for the port definition. '''''type''''' indicates whether this is a FILE or GROUP (or may be either), and '''''fgname''''' is the name of the file or group. The client connection is terminated immediately after this message is issued. 

This message could be caused by a mistyped file (or group) name in the <var>[[JANUS DEFINE]]</var> command or file enqueuing problems. The <var>[[JANUS DISPLAY]]</var> command will show the name of the file or group on the JANUS DEFINE command and the <var class="product">Model 204</var> audit trail preceding this message will probably have more information about the exact problem causing this message.
