Action:

Lets you specify a message for display in the Client Status bar.

Syntax:

setStatusMessage {&var|&&function|const}

where:

  • &var is a macro variable that may or may not already exist.
  • &&function is a macro function.
  • const is a character string, which does not have to be enclosed in quotes.

Examples:

setStatusMessage Nothing happening! 

set &msg = "Here's Johnny" 

setStatusMessage &msg
