This parameter specifies the default <var class="product">Model 204</var> user ID used for web logons for URLs where  userid is required. <code>WEBUSER WEBUSER</code> is the default. A client request for a non-protected URL, which does not require a logon, will run under the user ID specified in the <var>WEBUSER</var> parameter. 


<var>WEBUSER</var> is valid for <var>[[JANUS DEFINE#type|WEBSERV]]</var> ports only.

WEBUSER xxxx — Default login for web users

WEBUSER is a parameter on JANUS DEFINE, which defines and sets characteristics of a Janus port.

This parameter specifies the default Model 204 user ID used for web logons for URLs where userid is required. WEBUSER WEBUSER is the default. A client request for a non-protected URL, which does not require a logon, will run under the user ID specified in the WEBUSER parameter.

WEBUSER is valid for WEBSERV ports only.
