This is an informational message issued when test mode is set (AUTHCTL TEST ON
) for SirSafe. It indicates whether or not the job is allowed to open the indicated file in read/write mode — the message will indicate either "allowed" or "denied". This check is only done if AUTHCTL ... MVSRO
is set. If read/write access is not allowed, Model 204 will try to open the file in read/only mode.
