This message is issued when an error occurs while parsing an XML document. The text of the message ('XML document fragment') contains the entire XML document, or a portion of it near the point at which an error was discovered. The reason for the error is explained in message MSIR.0668, which is issued prior to message MSIR.0678; also, message MSIR.0665 will follow message MSIR.0678, and will consist of a vertical bar (|) underneath the character displayed in MSIR.0678 which is at or near the error.
