%outCharacterMap = characterMap:DeepCopy
Syntax terms
| %outCharacterMap | A CharacterMap object variable to contain the deep copied object. |

| characterMap | A CharacterMap object variable, which may be Null. |
Usage notes
- The method object (characterMap) may be Null. The output of a deep copy of a Null object is a Null object.
