MSIR.0904 Terminating connection: (reason)

A telnet connection was terminated because of the indicated reason. If the reason is LOUTPB too small, LOUTPB should be increased in the CCAIN stream for daemon threads. If the reason is an unsupported terminal type, it either indicates an attempt to connect to the Janus telnet server with a non tn3270 client, a type of connection which is not supported, or a connection with a tn3270 client that is sending a terminal type that the Janus telnet server does not understand.

If the latter is believed to be the case, contact Technical Support. To facilitate diagnosis of this problem, it is useful to reproduce the problem with a TCP trace — TRACE set to 8 either on the JANUS DEFINE for the port or via the JANUS TRACE command.

CLASS=E	Error class; the message can be suppressed with the X'04' bit setting of the MSGCTL parameter
AUDITER	Writes the message with line type ER to the audit trail
COUNT	Increments the error count (ERCNT) parameter
NOTERM	Does not display the message on the user's terminal
