M204.0417  Cannot delete sort​/​hash key field

In a sorted file or hash key file, the DELETE FIELD command cannot be used to delete the sort or hash key field on which the file structure is based.

Response: If it is necessary to delete this field, ask your file manager to reorganize the file.
