The following are the available Dataset class methods.

Method	Description
BlockSize	The block size of this dataset
Close	Close this dataset
KeyEQ	Position a VSAM dataset by key equality
KeyGE	Position a VSAM dataset by key greater than or equal
New	Create a new dataset object
NumberOfBuffers	Number of buffers to use for i/o
Open	Open this dataset
Output	Indicates whether this dataset is writeable
ReadBlock	Read data from this dataset
ReadRecord	Read a record from this dataset
ReadRecords	Read multiple records from this dataset
RecordFormat	The format of record i/o blocks
RecordLength	The record length of this dataset
ReleasePosition	Release the current position in a VSAM dataset
SirAudReport
SirTuneReport	Read this dataset as a SirTune sample dataset
State	The current state of this dataset
WriteBlock	Write a block of data to this dataset
WriteRecord	Write a record to this dataset
WriteRecords	Write multiple records to this dataset
