NOTERM or NOTHREAD (which are aliases of each other) must be set on the first user parameter line in a group. One terminal is defined by each user parameter line, and the value of the [IODEV parameter|IODEV] parameter must be the same on each parameter line.
The NOTERM and NOTHREAD parameters apply to the following device types:
IODEV | Access method/device type |
---|---|
7 | SNA Communications Server 3270 (z/OS and z/VM) |
11 | Remote User Language thread (full screen) |
19 | VTAM (Horizon for Connect:) |
27 | VTAM (Horizon) |
29 | Remote User Language thread (line-at-a-time) |
37 | SNA Communications Server 3767 and NTO (z/OS) |
39 | IUCV User Language thread (line-at-a-time) |
41 | IUCV User Language thread (full screen) |
43 | IUCV Host Language Interface thread |
