MSIR.1093  More than DUMPLIMD occurrences of this dump, dump not generatedtoken

The limit set by the DUMPLIMD parameter, on the number of dumps with the same selection criteria that may be produced in a run, has been exceeded. This dump has therefore been suppressed, and further dumps matching the same criteria in this run will not be generated either.

The message may end with the text (see additional audited info), which indicates that related information has been written to the audit trail and should be examined along with the message.

This is the dump counterpart of MSIR.1058, which reports the equivalent condition for snaps limited by the SNAPLIMD parameter.

System Manager response: The suppression is working as designed and prevents a repeating failure from flooding the dump dataset; the important problem is the condition that is producing the repeated dumps. Examine the dumps already taken for this criteria, together with the audit trail, and report the problem to Rocket Software Technical Support. The DUMPLIMD command can be used to list the current dump limit table, and to clear it if further dumps are needed for diagnosis; clearing the table requires system administrator privileges.
