DeepCopy (CharacterMap function)

"Deepcopy" specified CharacterMap object

DeepCopy is a member of the CharacterMap class.

This method returns a CharacterMap object that is a deep copy of the method object.

Syntax

  %newmap = %map:DeepCopy

A CharacterMap object variable to contain the deep copied object.

%map

A CharacterMap object variable.

Usage Notes

• The method object (%rand) may be null. The output of a copy of a null object is a null object.
